MAIL-IN GUN REPAIRS

Mail-In Gunsmithing Service

Not local to Moreno Valley? No problem. Dave accepts mail-in repairs from anywhere in California. Ship your firearm directly to his FFL and he'll diagnose, repair, and ship it back to your local FFL dealer.

How It Works

Dave accepts mail-in repairs from California residents. Because he holds a Federal Firearms License (FFL), you can ship your firearm directly to him. Once repaired, he ships it back to an FFL dealer near you for legal transfer. The process is straightforward — just contact Dave first to discuss the repair before shipping.

1

Contact Dave First

Call or email Dave to describe the problem with your firearm. He'll let you know if it's a repair he can handle, provide an estimate, and give you shipping instructions.

2

Ship to Dave's FFL

Package your unloaded firearm securely and ship it to Dave's FFL address via FedEx or UPS (USPS does not accept handgun shipments from non-licensees). Include a note with your name, return address, phone number, and description of the problem.

3

Diagnosis & Repair

Dave will inspect your firearm, confirm the repair scope and cost with you, then complete the work. He'll contact you before proceeding if the repair differs from the original estimate.

4

Return Shipment

Once repaired, Dave ships your firearm to an FFL dealer near you. You pick it up from your local dealer just like any other firearm transfer. Dave will provide tracking information when it ships.
